Margarita received her Dental Hygiene diploma in 1998 from the University of Leeds Dental Institute in the United Kingdom. During her time at the dental institute, she received extensive training in all departments of the University teaching hospital with her main focus in the Periodontology department

Among some of Margarita's acheivements are, awards from the British Dental Hygienists Association, as well as eight years study and training at the Royal Conservatory of Music,which she completed with honours for classical piano.
