1. When the final restoration has been placed, brush and floss accordingly as instructed. Do not chew on ice cubes or other hard objects or continue deleterious habits, such as biting on popsicle sticks, pens etc.
2. If the bite feels unusual, please call to have it checked.
3. The implant restoration is secured with screws. If at any point anything feels loose, please contact our office immediately for assessment.
4. It is very common to experience tongue or cheek biting following insertion of an implant restoration. This is completely normal and will resolve.
5. Regular dental examinations are important to maintain the function and appearance. Please schedule a follow-up and recall evaluation as instructed by your doctor.
