Level II Dental Assistant / Dental Technician

"Thomas graduated from George Brown College in 2007 with honors in the level 2 dental assisting program and has successfully completed his National Dental Assistant Examination board the same year. He enjoys every aspect of dentistry from simple procedures to complex implant surgery and has a profound interest with laboratory work as well. He takes pride in his work and believes that providing quality service is key to success as much as providing comfort and a positive atmosphere for all patients.

Since joining Prosthodontic Associates in 2010, Thomas has been working not only as an assistant but works in Dr. Barzilay's Laboratory as well under the guidance of dental lab technician, Glen Gonzalez. Thomas is very enthusiastic with hands on work in the laboratory and aspires to be a registered technician in the future. To date, Thomas has attended various courses with Prosthodontic Associates to expand his knowledge with dental prosthetics and implant surgery. He enjoys learning all about dentistry and believes being educated is very important for every aspect of his job and strives to be at his best.

Being a graduate of St. Michael's Choir school in 2005, Thomas has done many tours to perform concerts and learned to play the piano. He has a natural love for all music and attends a yearly Alumni Tenebrae gathering at St. Michael's Cathedral to sing tradition Latin choir music. He has also recieved his certificat de Françias intensif and has a good grasp of the French language.

Aside from work, Thomas is a down to earth person and a kid at heart who loves spending time with his significant other, friends and family. He loves to play the electric guitar, soccer, bike riding, singing, video gaming, knowledgeable with computers, philosophizes about the Universe and has a knack for motorcycles."
