Wilfried Weiss
Dental Technologist
Wilfried Weiss began his dental technology career at Dieter Binder dental laboratory in Austria. During this time he was trained in various aspects of dental technology and gained more knowledge as he was promoted to the management team. In addition to supervising other dental technicians in the metal and crown & bridge departments he planned laboratory cases, managed quality control, consulted with dentists and advised laboratory apprentices. After working for 18 years at Binder dental laboratory Wilfried decided to immigrate to Canada in 2009. Upon his arrival Wilfried gained a supervisory position in crown & bridge/ gold-department for one of the leading dental laboratories in Ontario. Wilfried then joined Barzilay Dental Laboratory in July 2011. Besides his passion as a dental technician, Wilfried sang and played trumpet in a jazz band for over 15 years, which was actively touring different parts of Europe. In his spare time he likes music, creative cooking, go-kart racing and exploring the outdoors.
